ADAPT

i am in a bad state now. i miss home. i don't wanna live here its too strange. i miss Malaysian food. a few days back Zue brought down her sambal ikan bilis during lunch. i had some. the moment i had it in my mouth, i felt overwhelmed with emotions. rasa sebak. how i miss Malaysian food. the good Malaysian food. not to say that mess food is bad. mess food is nice just that hari hari makan ayam. only had fish once since i arrived here in Belgaum. so lets shed the tears and let me tell you what have i experienced so far.

just recently i went to the town to buy some stuff for my room and for myself. we went there by college bus. it was actually my first time seeing the the real town of india. the typical india you always see on tv. yeah the ugly one. the vehicles keep honking ALL THE TIME regardless of anything. honking out of sudden without reasons. nak kasi signal honk, nak belok honk. dah tu siap buat lagu lagi honk dia. they have bad riding ethics.

just today i had the experience to ride an auto. the three wheel vehicle. we went to Maruti Gali. i bought one baju punjabi but don't know if i ever wear that. if i wear that, it shows im accepting the life here in Belgaum. the truth is im not yet accepting the fact. i know i will be living in denial because i just can't go back home to Malaysia now. this is my place for the next 5 years. i have to learn to like this place. i have to learn to adapt living in new places and environment. i have to learn to take the positive sides of this place and don't complain the difficulties or anything not of your preference. so while i was in the auto, it reminded me so much of Malaysia. the good ethics of Malaysian drivers. the people here drive recklessly, speed up in one second then suddenly press the brake. the distance between a vehicle and another is not more than 10cm i tell you. sooo near rasa mcm nak langgar dah orang orang tepi jalan tu. tadi boleh pulak satu auto ni nak masuk simpang kanan tapi langsung tak tgk kereta belakang. dah la duduk lane kiri (ada lane ke masalahnya?). tak ke nak langgar. mengucap kita orang dalam auto tu. bahaya bahaya.

and another thing about india( idk if this happens to the whole part of India or certain areas only) is, selalu ada blackout. blackout untuk beberapa saat then ada balik. buatnya tiba tiba tengah mandi tiba2 blackout. benci betul. this happens not only kat hostel. kat university, class, cafe. agaknya tak cukup power la tu.

the weather here is cold around 20 degree. walaupun ada matahari, tapi angin dia sejukkk. thats the thing i like about Belgaum. idk how its gona be when winter hits next month.
