Language

it has been more than a month here. i am surviving and moving on in my own slow pace. talked more to strangers lately. okay nevermind that.

i am not sure if i should say i like this place now because i haven't. one thing is language. language is really a barrier although Prof KJ once said language is never a barrier but incident happened to us recently when there was a difficulty in dealing with the locals especially with those who do not speak English. message can not be delivered in the right way. i hardly pronounce any Kannada or Hindi words because i only know one or two. then how can communication happen? Kannada language sounds so weird and i couldn't bring myself to speak to locals sebab bunyi dia menggelikan.

i should stop now and get ready to class.
